Q: What is HIP?
A: HIP is an acronym that stands for "Hot Isostatic Processing." Hot Isostatic Processing involves applying elevated temperature and pressure thru an inert gas medium.

Q: Why HIP?
A: HIP has a multitude of uses. It can be used to create strong defusion bonds, as well as having the ability to correct the residual porosity in cast metals. Please see our Services page for more information.
Q: How long will it take to get my product processed?
A: Total processing times can vary depending on cycle specifications, and logistical concerns, but typically we are able to have the product back to you in 48-72 hours. Rush services are avaliable, feel free to contact us about your specific needs.

Q: Does IPG offer pick-up and delivery services?
A: Depending on your location and needs, we do have the ability to handle all of the  logistical aspects involved in having your materials processed by our company.
